Show off your 82 Dixie Stockman and/or Possum Skinner.

I'll start the showcase with mine, a 828318 (I don't know if there were prior or subsequent runs) Dixie Stockman that I won in a GAW on 09-02.
I can honestly state "This is the best/nicest 1095 bladed stockman I own."

Elderberry jigged bone. The wharncliffe secondary is hiding a little blade rub on the drop point secondary. Great knife, and I love the color and jigging, despite the fact that I have heard some refer to this jig pattern as "tire tread." The bomb shield is great. I think these remained in stock for awhile for the same reason as the last 66 calf ropers, namely somewhat light pulls. I would say that on mine the pulls are 4-5 out of 10. But I am not fond of nail-breaker pulls -- I don't want to fight with my knife when I need to cut something.

The two-blade 'possum-skinner version seems to be the favorite here so far, and those natural-canvas micarta covers sure are handsome.

I really like the blade combo on these, pull is mild but not weak and plenty of snap. Very elegant knife despite being big. Essential for any Stockman enthusiast.

Possum Skinner, a very practical large bladed single-spring knife. This knife is no longer mine, but it can often be seen here on the Forum looking a lot nicer and photographed to greater effect than I can manage

Probably my most carried knife. Really wish I would have picked up a Possum Skinner when they were on the shelves.

At one time I had quite a few, but have pared down to just the one in stag with the slant bolsters.

If only they had made a run of these in 440C . . .

I gifted my possum skinner to a good buddy of mine. He’s been using it and carried it in a nice belt sheath.
My stag stockman is a solid knife. Hmmm maybe I will carry it today.

I have three dixie stockmans and this micarta one is my user. Such a great knife, nearly perfect.
