Does anyone know of an 82nd Airborne knife available. My son just returned home and I wanted to get him one for Christmas. I found a US Army commemorative on ebay. The seller says its made by Case, but I can find no other listing for this knife.

Any help will be appreciated.

I think Darrell at mtsequoiah knives.com has one. You would have to ask him to see if he still has it.

Ek knives made an 82nd Airborne knife. One was sold at the 82nd museum at Fort Bragg when I was stationed their. Nice for a commerative knife, wouldn't have wanted it for a user. If you are looking for a user for him, any small Busse would be fantastic. I had a Mean Street on my LBE. Since I was a grunt, it was small enough to not be a pain in the butt (literally) to carry for miles on end, yet was tough enough to handle anything thrown its way. The Active Duty or Heavy Duty are appox. the same size and would be super as well.

Depending on your budget there are many who would make a custom knife that would fit the bill... You could also get engraving work done on a knife so that it could be a user

I think custom engraving would be the coolest if its a knife you'd want him to use. Something with a flat titanium slab would work pretty well.

* or perhaps the 82nd unit crest milled into a maroon scale

There used to be another #4 posting. It was a first time poster who was SPAMing his services as a knife maker. Apparently, he has been shown the door.

this is the knife i currently make for members of the 82ND ABN. DIV. i was in the 4/325 A.I.R. This is the ''RECONDO II''. it is double edged A-2 tool steel with choice of handles, most choose G10 or carbon fiber, i like the G10. so Florida_pi if your still looking for a great field knifei am about 4 weeks away from having the next batch of 10 done....this one is only sold to paratroopers. might sound funny, but platoon integrity :)
