Just got word from a manufacture that I have access to a semi limited supply of reclaimed 8670. It’s in the .16+ thickness if I remember corrctly and large sections. I’m hoping to be able to jump on it and get it as it’s available. I have some of it in stock right now that I’m going to run through some testing. If all goes well it will be up on the site in the next few days to be used for custom blade blanks.
 
Hey JT, do you think this might be a good choice for small hatchet type tools?
 
I can and will probably have new 8670 in stock but reclaimed is much cheaper.
 
I might be interested.

.16+ thickness as in they’re all going to be .160-.170, or will there be thicker pieces like 1/4”?
