880 SP wiggle question
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I got it! The Strider -buck 880SP. Its more of a tank than I possibly imagined. The blade has a little side to side play. This is remedied by tightening up the torx screw, however the knife is moderately harder to open..... Should I leave it tight like this so that it will break in? Will it break in or is there a blade play issue?
Thanks for any help
Now on to the size rant= I cant freaking BELIEVE the thickness of this knife the blade is INCREDIBLE I definitely do not have to worry about breaking it.
Does anyone know of a company that might do inexpensive customizations for production knives? It would be kind of cool to slim this puppy down or put some different scales......I dont know. Ive got a couple of knives (CS recon 1 old model) that Id like to work with .
Also one more question, why is the blade tipped back whenlocked at that slight angle? Was it to keep the tip in line with directional force? Not complaining I think it looks cool like that!
