I just got my order for the Buck / Strider Police knife. Wowee, super nice knife. Really strong, heavy and tons of quality, a knife you can live with your whole life and never need another knife. My Wife saw it and said lets by 2 more for my 2 really lucky Brother in Laws. I was so over whelmed by the knife I decided to get 2 more.

Well, the Buck site now has them for $70, Arrrugh. You guys were right all along, for $40 that is one great knife. I just wanted to see one first, before I bought more. Still a good deal at $70, but not quite what I was hoping.
 
I did the same thing ordered one, then after it came went back to get some more and the price had gone up. I guess it must have been too good of a deal.

Well, I for one would sure like to thank Joe, CJ, Chuck or whoever was responsible for giving use the keys to candy store, if only for a brief tantalizing moment. Sort of a "Wally World price rollback".

I was fortunate enough to be able to grab a 882BKX. But, alas, I was also looking long and hard at the Strider 880SPX. TOOOOO long, now its $95.

Oh well it sure was fun while it lasted. And there are still some nice bargains up there. I just received my 694WA Alpha Hunter.....and for $30.....WOW!!
 
Yes, the Alpha Hunter is still $30, a really nice knife. I do want to thank Buck for making it possible to have those great prices. I am glad I got my Police Knife for $40, I guess I shouldn't be that upset. I also want to thank this forum for giving up the heads up about the sale. I usually don't buy high tech folders, but I went with what members said on the forum. Now that I have it, I know it will get used, A LOT.
