889LE in Ironwood

For the 889 fans, I came across this one in the 2006 dealer catalog:

I was hoping Buck would spin off some less-tactical versions of this one but I didn't think I'd get my wish quite this fast. My 889 has quickly become one of my favorites and this new one will be hard to resist.

You know how to dream, I'll give you that. BG-42 would be most excellent. I bought an 889 almost on a whim, and was bowled over once it arrived. Some have posted issues with the liner/lock but mine has none of them, it's rock solid. I thought to myself early on that it had potential to be more than just the typical black tactical knife. What a pleasant surprise (more like shock) when shortly thereafter I came across the Ironwood version, and it quickly went on the short list. I hope there's more to come.
