8OT found in a resort town

I found an 8OT, and several other US made Schrades that didn't make it home with me, at an ACE hardware in a beach resort town this week. The 8OT is a great stockman. They're still out there guys, a lot of stores don't know that they are collectible. Unfortunately, the guys at the counter where the knife display was located, said that after the last few Case, Buck and Schrade are gone, they're done carrying knives. All of the other hardware stores I stopped at either didn't have any knives, or only carried junk.

Looking for something else yesterday I found a Mom/Pop general store that had a display case full of Case knives at good prices. No Schrades though. Gentleman running the store said he sold out of the old ones & would not get the new Chinese made ones.

Don't forget to check Pawn shops. I have discovered a lot of good deals in Pawn shops.

A muskrat and a bear head trapper. I'm thinking a single pen blade trapper also. All USA made.
