9 1/2 inch knife recommendation?

Hi, I always seem to be asking for knife recommendations, so sorry 'bout that! Anyway, looking for a knife no longer than 10 inches, preferably 9 1/2. I want the blade to be at least 5 inches. I know that handle to blade ratio might be hard to find so thats why I need some help :) Price preferably under $150, and not really looking to have a knife custom made either. The Fallkniven S1 is about perfect, but just a littttle bit out of my price range, unless I could find a cheap one somewhere. Ill be using it for all things bushcraft/survival etc.

For sale now in knifemakers for sale forum: fixed blade knives, J-siah knives. The most awesome blades at great prices. If there gone, he will make one.
 
First knife that comes to mind is a short KABAR, another good knife with thinner blade would be the Helle Jegermeister. First one is under $50 and the latter under $100.
 
Just get the S1. It's a wonderful knife and can be had for around your $150 mark or just a shade more on a certain auction site, but worth every cent.
 
There's a Hargis in your size in the Individual for sale forum, Customs, for $115. Crazy price for that knife.

So you dont want a custom, even if it's already made?

Well then, what you want is a Becker BK16 or BK17. Great knife, great sheath, great price, great warranty. It fits all your criteria. The ones that are avail now are the "First Production Run" & have it laser etched into the blade, along with Ethan Beckers signature. Don't like that idea, wait till April 1, when the reg versions come out. The BK16 FPR has a sabre grind vs the production versions full flat grind. Look em up. Friggin awesome knives.
 
The Ontario SK-5 is 10" overall and has a 5" blade (and no choil).

Thanks for the suggestions guys!! Probably gonna get the bk-16 or 17 anyway, then see if I can get a Fallkniven s1 for a good price somewhere. Gonna have a look at that ontario too!!

the bk-16 and bk-17 don't fit your original criteria, i though you wanted a knife with at least a 5" blade?

if you are a little flexible with your specs, check out the entrek 11 bravo (4.75" blade, 9.25" overall).

p.s. those new beckers are pretty sweet and they won't be too expensive.

Yeah I would prefer the exact specs I gave, but getting a knife I LIKE with those specs is pretty hard lol. Becker wont have the problem of me disliking it ;) thanks for the tip ill check out that entrek knife now! :)
