Your right I new I was missing someone. will edit orginal post. Thanks, you might notice I take better pics of knives then I do plaques. The second to last picture of the Plaque and knife is the best picture for showing the actuall color of the wood in the plaque. The knife pics came out real nice I think but I have a tried and true method now of taking knife pics.

I am really sorry I missed this thread. You guys did a wonderful job and are to be commended. What a beautiful tribute for what sounds like one hell of a man and a true Hero.

Hopefully Mary and her son can find some peace knowing that there are so many who are so proud of the things done by law Enforcement at the WTC on 09-11. This knife says far more than words could.

I just wanted to add my thanks to all who participated and everyone who kept this idea alive and moving forward, there were a lot of people who helped with moral support or donations, I want to thank all of you too.

I mostly want to thank the following people,

Charles MarloweCharles Marlowe for the offering of his skills and time in rehandling the Buck 110,(check out his site he makes some bodacious knives)

Mike Dye, and New Grahm Pharmacy for donating the Buck 110, and Thomas Walker for donation of his time and skill in making the plaque and mounting the knife.( don't forget to check out the excellent selection of knives on their site at)
New Graham Pharmacy

Ed Thornbrugh for his donation of the handle material.

Brass Engraved plate by T & N Trophies

Also I'd like to thank everyone who donated any money, CVETTERER1 for sending money to help offset the cost of shipping the materials back and forth to the people involved in making this commemoritive a reality. I'd also like to thank all the people who offered prayers and words of encouragemaent, Zen, Yit and all the rest of the great people of BFC.

More pics will be posted, after I present Mary with the plaque, once again, you all are the greatest.
Thanks,

That looks really nice. Glade to see it all came together. My offer from before still stands. Send me an E-mail.

T. Erdelyi,

Everything should leave out to you tomorrow, (Tues.), UPS didn't run today. You should have e-mail from me now.

So much work went into this project, I just had to kick it BTTT again in hopes that more people would see what a great bunch of people reside here at BF.C.

Thanks again to everyone, I'll keep this post updated when i can take more pics.:)

Hey folks just got the plaque and it all looks great, Mary's brother's stoppin' by to take a look, and I'm gonna take some pics this weekend, and present it to Mary this upcoming week.

Thanks again to all who supported this idea.

I wanted to post this here also to thank you all too.

I spoke with Mary over the weekend she'll be attending Memorial services With the wives of the fallen Port Authority PD Officers.

I will be giving her the plaque this weekend she has been extreemly busy with the anniversary of 9-11 coming up and she said she's looking forward to seeing me.

Thank you everyone involved, and may God look down upon you and your familys and see the perfection of his creations.
