I just got this back from our newest bud Mark Shaukowitsch. The damascus is approx. 70% structural steel from the World Trade Center buildings. I cored the san mai with 1084HC steel. The file-worked handle has inset stabilized Buffalo horn scales, stainless steel pins and a memorial scene and date done by Mark.

I'm making a series of memorial knives for a couple of gentlemen (I hope they'll chime in here). Below the dagger is a hunter with the same steel. I hope you like them.
