A 9,5" bowie blade, forged from 52100, a mighty 8.5mm thick at the ricasso.
Brass guard and pommel, sambar stag.

Maybe in XIXth century and in Texas could be useful, but nowadays it seems more a drawer queen ... Clearly too cumbersome to be useful when hunting.
