Greetings everyone,

For your perusal, here is a razor I just finished up for my barber, Lou. It’s an O-1 tool steel Barber’s notch, with jimping on the top and bottom of the tang. The blade is about 9/8 at the toe, and slightly narrower at the heel. The handle is Kingwood, the pins are nickel silver, the exterior washers are stainless steel, and the inner washers are nylatron. The wedge is titanium, which I anodized to a gold hue.

Thank you. It cut's free standing hair easily enough, but I'm keeping my full beard, so I didn't give it a test shave. Lou will have to try it out for himself.

Very nice. I'd love to shave with that. My razors are all 80 to 165 years old.

I like that quite a bit!! I know it takes real skills to make a knife. I think it takes even more to make a true, shavable, work of art straight razor. I admire that piece very much. I say congratulations, and keep with it.
