This was my first attempt at a hidden tang.
I don't think I did to bad!! There are a couple things I need do do different next time like, Make the tang higher and be a little more careful with a sanding drum
As you can see in the pics I have the pin to low on the handle, When I was using my sanding drum to sand out where the guard and wood meet, I went a little to deep and hit the channel I bored in the wood for the tang
But I mixed epoxy with the wood dust and covered it up.
This is going to be my shop knife
5/32 1095 heat treated by myself

hand rubbed to 400 grit, the brass guard is polished
Scales are redwood burl
Pin is brass
