Well I took a comparative photo of the 901 we used for our ribbon cutting ceremony, next to mine, and surrounding a 401 Kalinga.
The story behind these is that we wanted to reproduce the one that Hoyt made back in the 1940's, that was later stolen from the factory in the 1980's. The larger of the two in the picture represents the size Chuck remembered the original to be and the smaller is the size I figured it to have been.
Today it occured to me that I have a picture of the original 901 and in the picture are several other knives that we know how long they were. I did some quick math and figured Hoyt's scimitar was approximately 28" long. Not32" like I thought or 36" like Chuck. That shows what we know!
