An almost 20 year old production knife may have a lot of collector value, provided you have the box and all the relevant paperwork that was included with it. It depends who you are selling to. Having everything complete, will result in a higher selling price. Some people don't care much and will haggle. In other words, there is no real hard and fast answer. Personally, I love the Stryker knives, I would not pay $300 for a 905 though, that is not a deal in my opinion. Someone else might just "have to have it" and pay whatever it takes. There are all kinds in the knife collecting/buying/using community.
