916 bowie

There have been several diferent limited editions done on the 916. The earlies one I could find was called the California Sherrif's Association done in 1993. It has a gold etch of a Sheriff on the blade, kind of looks like Clint Eastwood.

Yes, thats the one. I remember the first time I saw it I thought it was old Clint Eastwood. :)
From waht I can tell, there were only about 400 of the planned 2500 produced. Does anyone have one with a serial number higher than 400?

I really like the look of that Bass Pro one!

The back side of the blade has a gold etch of the CA Sheriffs association star and pad printing of: Honoring "A Century of Dedicated Service", 1894 to 1994.
