9160 Fighter.....

This is the first 9160 blade I've done, same thing as 5160 but without the crome. The 9160 was used for the leaf springs on the old Studabakers. The blade is 8 1/4" with 1018 fittings and a ironwood/osage orange handle.

Keith, The jigsaw puzzle blade is trash, guess you didn't notice it was in 6 piece in the picture thats why I called it the puzzle blade. I had broke it once when I tried to straighten it out and decided to see how it hardened up everywhere else. I'll be making one that size in the future.
