The real-world cutting ability of Benchmade's 921 Switchback and the card game cutting ability of MTG's Scalpelexis are eerily similar. Looking at these pictures, I would guess that they're long lost twins.

Scalpelexis

Other Magic The Gathering players would probably notice that the Wumpus family disappeared before Swamp Rat Knives became popular. Another coincidence?

Just being silly.

hahaha. It would indeed appear that they are related. I havn't played the game in years so I don't know any of the new cards.

It is too much to hope that this is a mere coincidence however, I suggest that you take your wumpuses(wumpii?) as well as your scapelexis into protective custody before they too disappear. I smell conspiracy!

Nice card, a flying millstone. I played Magic for 5 years in highschool but that was back when the dark and legends were still out! If you ever want to trade my cards for knives, just let me know. I have some goodies.

Millstone... ...lost to that a few times. Actually, Scalpy is like Grindstone in its repetition feature, but Grindstone was phased out before my time.

Magic Cards for knives, eh? What's that rarest one from the day? Black Lotus? If you have that, what would you be looking for?

Speaking of older Magic cards, does your Tinker SAK match "Tinker"?
