940-1 replacement thumbstuds

No. Benchmade will only send out replacement clips and some random body screws. I tried to have them send me the snap ring inside one of their pen caps and they would only replace it if I sent the pen in.
This is their policy to the best of my knowledge. I may be wrong.
 
i wanted to switch out some thumb studs on my 943 to all black ones and they sent me them no problem. I guess it depends on who you talk to
 
I have received a few thumb-studs from them. My favorite being the ones from the Rift. Cant hurt to ask.

I apologize for the misinformation. I found some studs they had sent me for a Bradley knife a few years ago. I must have been thinking of another brand I contacted. I do remember there were some items they would not send out that seemed rather strange, but the studs were OK. I do remember thinking it was odd to have to send a pen in just to have the retention ring replaced as they would not send them out. I am glad they are sending them out to you.
