940-2 deployment

When you deploy this knife to get a good thumb grip on the thumb stud you have to apply a bit of pressure on the blade. in just wondering weather this will damage the knife by it having a little bit of Pressure on when being deployed ?

Hi Norticalm, I have carried my dealer exclusive 940s as well as my 940-1, and 940-2 pretty consistently as work week carry knives over the last 4 to 5 years. I haven’t noticed any abnormal wear. I work in an office environment so my knife use is limited to mail, packages, and some kitchen chores.

If there was a design flaw in the 940, I think it would have been found 20 years ago. You're good.
