Thinking of the 940-1 and trying the super steel s90v.
Just thinking of the size of this one. Could you post a picture of a 940 and a Slysz Bowie.(any 940)
I have a Slysz Bowie and a picture would help in my decision.
Thanks

Best one I could find

Here ya go, hope these help.

FWIW, I think S90V is magnificent stuff. Difficult to sharpen to a fine edge, but it holds a working edge so much better than S30V et al.

Great pictures! Thank you.
I didn't realize how much narrower the 940 is to the SB. The 940 should fit nicely.

Thanks again

Just picked one of these up, first production for a good price and let me tell you it is an awesome blade!
Perfect for edc; extremely light and that s90v looks beautiful!

Honestly it is one of the best knives I've held :)

I'm happy to report, it became a gift for someone. I loved it and I know that person really appreciated the thought.

Thumbs up on gifting a friend your 940! I've given a bunch of blades away and it's great seeing their faces when they realize what they are given!
Gifting a blade will give you the warm and fuzzies!!

I can only comment on the 940 in general, not the 940-1... It is such a great edc and I deeply regret selling mine. So much that I am now getting a new one. The 940 is imho one of the very best edcs out there.

His face was priceless!
I saved up for it because I had wanted one for a while now but
It felt even better seeing him open it than when I did.

I'll save up and buy another one later in the year, they're awesome!
