I just got my 940 today and I am really impressed.

It is very smooth. Smoother than my other knives and smother than my friends grip or his dads 520 (which both have loosened pivots to increase fun but also play...). Speaking of which, there is NONE whatso ever, but it is super smooth.

The ergos are pretty good. My pinky is a bit akward but my fingers are skinny, i think most people can do a good three fingered grip on it and just have the pinky off. The Al is coated with something that makes it nice and grippy. The ergos are not as good as my Meerkat or Caly Jr but better than most non-spydercos.

I was a little worried about the factory edge, but it is great, shaved really well and also cuts me really well. (so much that i did not feel it, nor did i htink the contact should have been enough to keep me cut...and i always keep my knives shaving). IDK what the angle is, but the edge looks pretty good. It is very polished.

Finally, it opens really easily with a zip tie wave. I wrapped a zip tie in a criss-cross pattern around over the spine such that a loop comes down on each side and grabs each stud, then the boxy part is on the spine with a bit of tie sticking up. I am using really samll computer zip ties. which helps. It seems to open easier than my friends waved endura.

Thats all for now, I will be back later with some impressions after use and some pics.

I had never thought of putting a zip tie on a knife with thumbstuds in that manner. I'm going to have to give that a try with my 710. Thanks for the idea.
