I got a deal on this so decided to risk modding it.
The hump on the spine bugged me so I ground it off.
Then it felt like my index finger was too far from the blade so I ground the handle down on that side.
Then I decided the g10 needed to be relieved for thumbstud access.
Then the blade shape looked weird in relation to the handle so I ground that to a spear point.
The original looks better overall but as modified it's much more comfortable! I need to do a little more filing on the g10 for aesthetics. Anyone else modded their 940?
