Alright, a few of you MIGHT just remember a thread I posted a while ago when the BM sub-forum was still fairly new. It basically asked for ways to solve my 940 pivot wiggle. It was suggested that I place an order for some replacement screws; well, they only just got here a week or two ago, and I found something very interesting about the screws. I thought that the original screw seemed a little short for the width of the blade it was supposed to go through... and, well...
The replacement screw was even shorter.
Kidding! So kidding. Many, many thanks to BM for sending me the replacement screw set, it's made my 940 carry-able again! I would highly suggest that if you have issues with pivot wiggle or the pivot actually coming loose over time, as mine did, that you compare your screws with another 940, see if yours is shorter. Then, place the order!
