Looking inside at the liner from the back of the knife, I can see a something small sticking out of one side of the liner. It almost looks like a very tiny screw or is this possibly the spring? Hope I explained this okay, it's kind of hard to explain.

Should be one on both sides.
Yes, it's the leg of the omega spring.

Thanks! The other side looks to be sitting flush with the liner. That side isn't a problem is it?
