943 or 921?

The price is very close, and I will be using this as an EDC. I'm an urbanite, which means no tough work, mostly paper, boxen, tape, string, etc...

I'm leaning towards the 921 because it's a more 'showy' knife, and that's what I need atm (vanity, oh yes ). So, which one?

I used a 921 as my office EDC for awhile and it is terrific for that. Its utility is not diminished by its unthreatening looks. I finally sold it to a fellow cube-rat who had been really admiring it after I got a Buck/Mayo. Not it fulfills office EDC duties while I carry either an 806D2 or 730CFD2 out of the office.

The 941/943 is one of my favorite designs. I'd recommend it highly. I've never really warmed up to the 921. The 921 does come with better blade steel although the 154CM used in the 94x series is really good steel. The 921 does add a small utility blade but I usually have a Leatherman Micra or a small SAK in one of my other pockets, so the extra blade is of no benefit to me.

That's what I'm planning to use it for mainly. I'm getting a 710HS for heavy-duty use as a beater, and I basically need an EDC knife to carry around for basic chores and to show off a bit
