I was lucky enough to recently acquire these two beautiful pieces. I'm surprised with all the years I've collected knives that I've never run across the 970T. I like the knife a lot. Both of these are in like new condition.

I like that "97OT Buzzzsaw", Schrade only made them from 2000 until 2004.
That saw blade looks like is would be handy, on a pocket knife. Ken.

Thanks for the info, I liked that knife from the first time I saw it. I did not know it had such limited production. Perhaps that's why I have never seen one.

Nice blade Cosmo...the 97OT has been my blade of choice to carry in belt pouch, when I go gold prospecting...mine has 'Ducks Unlimited' on the shield....the tweezers and needle spike carried neatly/securely in the butt have proved invaluable through the years for removing thorns, splinters etc from my hands/arms whilst digging...the tweezers are also handy separating/removing small nuggets from my gold pan.......strangely I've never really used the saw blade however the cutting blade has had much use.....sturdy, well designed Schrade...I like a self contained practical knife that offers many usage options......

i had never seen the 97OT either, have the similar 96OT and like the makeup of the knife.

Hi, Larry, no BULL lately; haha. I am curious about your knife with the Swinden no-through-pin construction. You say you have used it well; so my question... "has it gotten loose on you, or still solid?" I collect some Swinden construction knives, but have avoided using them for fear of weak construction.

I like that 960, might have to keep my eyes out for one of those now.
