I have one that I no longer use. It isn't in pristine condition however. The Black finish is fairly worn, no sharpening scratches, the lockup is tight but I swear there is excessive play in the blade pivot fit. In the aftermath of Hurricane Georges I help relatives clear away fallen trees. Even with leather gloves the chainsaw left my hands so numb, I thought I had clipped the knife back into my pocket and let go. i dropped the knife onto a tile floor while it was closed. The tip was damaged. I did try to aleviate the tip damage as much as possible using a hard Arkansas stone. Sounds like a wreck? It isn't too bad, the serial number is #755.
I wrote Emerson describing the accident and how the tip had been damaged but never received a response. Felt so bad about damaging my favorite knife, I bought a green bladed Mil-Spec Commander from Martin Retting, Inc. in October or November of 1998. Would you be interested?
