Dammit, I'm sooo on the fence on this one. I really really really don't want to sell this one, but I know that I will NEVER use it. Maybe no one else will either, BUT, I need some cash flow for another project and some of my run of the mill production knives don't seem to be moving.
This is a MINT '99 Commander that is absolutely the epitome of what the Emerson Commander should be. I know everyone speaks highly of the '98s, but I really believe that the '99 could be and should be held in the same regard. Excellent workmanship, the scales are perfect, the blade and finish are just gorgeous, and the lockup and centering of the blade are perfect. I love this piece but recognize it as a collector's piece for me and right now I need "tools" more than I need a collection.
