A-1 costumer service

Just wanted to say that I am overly impressed with the customer service from ESEE. I had recently purchased a used RC-6 a few months ago, and have been very happy with it. But the person who owned it before me decided to put their own edge on it, and it just wasn't as sharp as i would of liked it. So i emailed Jeff, and asked if there was anything i could do to fix it. I received an email the very next day by mike perrin (co-owner of ESEE) saying that all i had to do was send it back in, and they would gladly put a new edge on it for me. So I sent it out, and 10 days later received it in the mail with the sharpest edge that one could ever have. I'm talking like brand new. You can imagine my excitement, and want to start chopping at things. And I just wanted to give props to everyone at ESEE, and ROWEN for standing by their warranty and their product. Things like that make me wanna buy more and more from them! :) THANK YOU!

Is making costumes out of A-1 anything like making knives out of A-2? :D

Yes, these guys do stand behind their knives. Easy to do, really, the knives are solid to begin with.
 
Hopefully I will never have to find out, but I wonder how it would go warranty wise sending the knife back from Australia? Is the warranty international? Sounds like the best customer service I have ever heard of - replacing new for old no matter how you broke it!!

The warranty will cover that knife no matter where, how, what, who, and no buts about it.

I have to agree, and the thing about Mike and Jeff is, as long as you aren't trying to BS them, you are upfront and honest, they will do whatever it takes.

I have yet to have an issues at all with any RAT/ESEE/Rowen blade, and I know if I do, they will take care of me. :)
 
It's just pretty amazing to me that a company will put an edge back on a knife that someone else screwed up. Mike and Jeff have this whole customer service thing figured out.
