Got a new A-100 from gpknives last week; and am I impressed. I bought the satin finished plain edge. This knife is really well put together. Simple, yet superbly designed; rugged yet refined. I have about 15 really good expensive knives, but this will be my edc at least on weekends for a while. During my office days, I carry the mini 7, which is very nice as well. Emerson's have a big following in the spec ops and military community and I can see why. They won't fail. Enuf ramblings, everyone enjoy your Sunday.

Congrats on the new knife

The A-100 is a knife that grows on me a bit more every day.
I wasnt crazy about it when it first came out but its just a really nice simple knife.
The handle is great, no finger dents mean it will fit any ones hand well.
The spear point blade is great too, I much prefer it over a tanto.

From what I here they can't keep this model on the shelf, I keep going in there to handle one they are always sold out buy the time I get there.

Yea I go to the same place to buy knives over the shelf that you do, and I told them to let me know via email when some come in and I bought right then. They got 2 last week and I got one and the other sold before it hit the shelf. good luck eric, jeff

I think the A100 is a way better hunter than the 16. Nice spear point that hists the center line of the knife, ambidextrous grip and well just about perfect if you ask me for a folding hunter. Put your finger up over the point when opening a deer body cavity and you have 0 chance of piercing the paunch which when you do it is a friggin mess. Just my opinion though. keepem sharp
