Ran across this while surfing the web. Handle remind me of a 119. Don't know if it's legit or not and it's got some age/wear/use but I kinda like it.

That one is actually in very nice shape. I would think it would clean up well.

I have several just like it with the red spacers. Still hoping to get the one with the white spacers which is just a little older and much more rare.

I believe those are in the 1968 to 1972 range. The ones with white spacers would be in the earlier part of those dates and the red spacers the latter part.

Go look at the 124 on the BCCI website.

I just took a quick look and that one might be a 1969 model…if I read it right.

Jump on it! The first 124s had the phenoilc handles with white teflon spacers, then hard fiber spacers, then micarta spacers, the full tang micarta handles

Thanks for the replies. Found the info on the BCCI site, December 2006 newsletter and it could be a 1967 or 69-70 depending on what the spacers are. At least I think that is right. This isn't something I can grab, it's an auction item, not the bay. With Christmas looming and the release of the 2014 product list I'm doing more looking than buying right now. If anyone wants info on the auction just send me a PM or email.

does buck make knives in Germany?
seen one some place (wink) that it was from Germany only
had a polished blade and a white handle of corlon micarta -- which is ?
any one know what the story on a german 124 is
seems I also heard of some 110's that were German corlon ...
did buck make them there or jest sell them there
if made here - does buck do a lot of sales of some thing only over seas?
and while on the subject
what is the rarest factory 124 or big buck?
or for that mater what is the rarest 110 or buck knife ?
