I came home the other day to a package in the mail addressed to my son. He was away a roller coaster park and didn't get home till late. The agony of not not opening it was killing me but was worth it when he opened it himself. The smiles where absolutely priceless. Thank you jone! He loves his baseball wallet and it now resides in his drawer with his other treasures.
A little surprise came with in the form of a little Case knife. I'm a little jealous myself of this cause it's a little gem of a knife. It sits next to his grandfathers Old Timer peanut.
Trenton says thanks with a big smile.

Your son looks like one happy camper Jon, great photo! Jennifer is a class act! :)

Fine looking young man you have there, Jon. That looks like an '08 half whittler if I'm seeing it right. Though as big as that shield is, it must be a vintage model. Nice knife and great gesture!

John I'll get some better pix when I get home. It is really a cool little knife

That's just beyond cool!! Kudos to Jennifer and congrats on the beautiful and thoughtful gifts.

More pics of that Peanut will be required though... :)

That is really neat Jon:thumbup: Good looking son you have there...this thread made my whole day:)

Jon, glad he's enjoying his new wallet and knife. Thanks for sharing the pics. Good looking young man you have there. It makes me happy to see a young man with a smile that big!

Thanks for sharing!

I don't come here much, but the genuine kindness and generosity of the Traditional regulars is inspiring.

Some fine looking knives can be found here too.

Rather than start a new thread, I took a ride on this one, hope nobody minds;)

I too was lucky enough to win one of Jennifer's wallets but living over in Scandiland, the delivery took a little longer naturally. The wallet is an excellent pouch for a compass in my day-pack, going out today for a bike-ride with it before the autumn rains make it impossible. Thank you Jennifer!
Regards, Will

Will, I don't mind at all. Great pic and a really good idea for your wallet!

I absolutely love that bonestag saddlehorn. The saddlehorn gets more pocket time than any other trad I have.

willgoy - glad the wallet arrived safely and hope it will serve you well. It is certainly fun to say I made something that has traveled so far! Have a great ride and don't get lost! ;)
