Today, I received a Fenix L0P Special Edition. This light is the same size and weight as the normal Fenix L0P 1xAAA, 1-Watt LED; but, it has three levels of light output. Also, for a multilevel LED light, its less than $40 price is impressive. Mine works great -- sorry, I don't have any run-times yet.

If interested, here is a source (I have no affiliation with either Fenix or this site):

I bought a couple also, should get them today. Looking forward to playing with them.

I'm not sure I'm too hot on the way you change brightness levels, how intuitive and ergonomic is that Charlie?

and for anybody that is a CPF member their is an 10% discount, only avaliable till the 19th with the right discount code.

regards.

John.

Very simple and reasonably intuitive in my view Kinzli -- turn it on as with any twisty and it comes on at mid power. Turn it off and back on within 1.5 seconds and it comes on at low power. Turn it off and back on again within 1.5 seconds and it's now in high power. Hence, it's a cycle of med, low, high. When the light is turned off for more than 1.5 seconds, it will next come on at mid power.

Thanks Charlie, I got mine today, and understand the mechanism now.

I wish there was a way to set it such that mode #1 was high power, but I guess beggars can't be choosers :) It's a cool light, I got one for wifey too and she already loves it.

I think it'll do just fine. I had bought a P1 a few weeks before and it's significantly brighter, but also bigger. Both are nice lights for their intended purpose.

Mine showed up today also. Very cool light, and very bright on High setting. But, I still like my Fenix P1 better.
