I've been tinkering with this blade for a while. My first attempt at a knife was using a slab of 154CM and hacking away at it with saw and file. It remains to be heat treated. I thendesigned this blade using a trial CAD software, Rhino I think, and had an A-2 blank waterjet cut by a local shop. I mailed it off to Dan Koster for the bevels. He is an extremely capable individual, btw. Heat treat was by Paul Bos. I neglected to sand the machining marks out before HT, and now I must sand forever. Anyway, it feels amazing in the hand even with the crappy cord wrap. I may just leave it as is and put an edge on it. Pretty cool, methinks. Thanks for lookin'!
Sorry about the crappy pics; I'm no Ansel Adams.
