I would like one please. Three inches (3" to 3 1/8") is the blade I use the most. I have them in S30V and they are great, but since my Calypso Jr is such a joy in VG10, wondered if a knife just a little bigger and heavier would be a nice addition to my rotation.

A flat ground Delica (new design), Salt (in VG10), Native, etc, would work.

I carry Para Military - most, Calypso Jr - next often.
The Stretch is nice, but just a little too much knife to lug around. I already have enough big knives.

Is that true? I missed that announcement. Agree the UKPK is an awesome design (or rather, slightly beefier and more refined version of the Calypso Jr.). With a lock on it, it would be awesome.

We're working on a "Caly 3". bolstered, lock-back using the UKPK pattern. A VG-10 version and a ZDP version. More of a Hi-line "afi" model. Probably won't be high quantity.
Haven't selected scale materials yet. They'll be different for the two steel versions.
It's still a good 6 months off, so we don't even have protos yet. I figure that I want one, so there are probably a few others that would enjoy the pattern "done up right".

Gull Wing: You can always mod a Delica to be flat grind, just remove some metal.

I would like a UK pen, it would be quite acceptable, in VG10. I think the UK version is in S30V.

Yes I could grind a hollow ground blade flat and I may do so, however, I do have reservations of grinding a hardened blade. How dificult is it?

The Mini Manix has a 3 1/4" blade and it is in S30V. (have one) I want VG10.

Hmm.... 3" VG10?? Does it have to be a folder?? The Moran is 3 7/8", The Ronin is 3". Hmmm.... There has to be one Spyderco.

Blades

Have you looked at the Scorpius?

I know, it's not flat ground, but the 2.5mm blade should slice very well.

It's VG-10 and has a choil.

Check it out.

Not difficult at all (I did it to my SE Delica and it's my EDC for a few years). Just use plenty of water.
