There's an older gentleman I work with at the hardware store who used to do wood carving. I had sharpened his stockmans knife for him and he was happy with the results. While working the other day he comes up and gives me a whetstone, which on closer inspection, turns out to be a Norton HB6 Translucent Arkansas Stone. Needless to say I was fairly well floored. He went on to explain that it had been given to him as a gift when he retired as a project lead at a power plant and that he'd rather it ended up with someone who knew what it was and would use it.

So now I have this godly wonderful whetstone. I just hope I can do it justice :(.
