Awhile back Jon got on Bills list

I believe he was looking for a classic example of his work and what he got is to me the apidemy of what I find to be a perfect Bagwell

Everyone seems to want an HB, and for good reason they are the thorough breeds of the fighting Bowie world, but the classic stag Bagwell Bowie is my favorite

I have carried a very similar knife for many years and it is the one knife that I would grab if if I had to grab one.

This is a great example for a great collector. I feel any true Bowie collection is uncomplete with out a Bagwell and Bill is doing the best work of his storied career

Caleb Royer artfully captured it here

Congrats Jon on a fine knife

Bill Bagwell couldn't have a better ambassador than you, Joe Paranee!

That's a cool looking Bagwell! I like the work on the guard and the pommel is so thin that one almost can't see it from a side view but when you look at the end, there it is. The pins in the pommel look good too! :) BTW, that's a fine lookin' picture! ;)

Alot of talent in that Royer family :)

Bill is all about feel and he will grind a pommel to give the knife the right balance

That's one sweet bowie! I love all the work on the guard, definitely something a bit different, but VERY cool!

Thanks for posting this up Joe. I have always desired one of Bill's knives and could not be happier. I was not sure what to expect waiting for my turn. However when the time came and I spoke with Bill I was quite impressed with his philosophy regarding the purpose of a custom knife. While not about the art he strives to make a good looking knife and an effective weapon. Even the size and direction of the stag matters as well as proportion for the owners himself. I could not be happier with this piece and proudly display it along with the finest knives in my collection.

Joe thanks for the introduction and Caleb job well done on the photo.

Jon

Well someone needs to bring Jason, he's making one of our mini-show knives. :)

VERY kool Bagwell. Congrats Jon! Must be nice to have that to fondle at will:D

Joe you certainly are a fine ambassador for Bagwells, and that is fine with me as I like seeing them. If I recall, one was always in your pictures of big game trophies.

Eh that's why I avoid this place. Lust and all that stuff.

That's beautiful.

The voices say- Yeah and you could use it too.
