Awhile back I posted a knife from a collector in Ca by the name of Bob Furusho. It was the largest HB that Bill had ever done and it had just got a pair of new pants from the great P Long
At that time I mentioned that Bob had the largest collection of Bagwell's that I was aware of and that I had asked him to now and then send me some pics. Here is the first knife Bob has sent me pics of so I decided to share them I hope you enjoy this
Bob is a gentleman and a great guy and for this I thank him.
Bob's words
The Damascus blade is 14 3/8 long, 1 3/8 wide and just over 5/16 at the spine. The oval guard is fluted as is the collar and like the butt cap has little pins inset in it. Bill installed a small flower shaped pin in the butt cap which is a nice touch. The Sambar stag handle fills the hand nicely and helps give this Bowie agility, no simple matter given it's size. But this is the kind of performance one can expect from the king of fighting bowies. The sheath it came with has an oversized stud shaped like the pin in the butt cap. The beaded buckskin sheath was made to order by a blackpowder enthusiast.
This one really shows off the length of this blade
