A B'Day Gift received at the OKCA Show

This past weekend at the OKCA show in Eugene, Mike had a surprise gift planned for my Birthday which had been in the works for over 1 year. I received a pocket knife, with Feather Pattern damascus, from Mike, who commissioned ABS MASTERSMITH Bruce Bump to make a folder for me. Bruce and Kaye came over to our table and gave me the shock of my life, a package which contained a beautiful pocket knife, of which I knew nothing about. I am tickled to death to own a beautiful knife from Bruce. I photographed the knife, but didn't give it the justice it deserves, at lease you can all view the knife.

Bruce, thank you again for making me a wonderful pocket knife that I am very proud to carry and honored to own.

Darn I was hoping she was not going to like it so I could have it :p, she was truly shocked when Bruce and Kaye came over and sang her Happy Birthday, the moment was priceless and she had been hounding me for a month about what I was getting her. I just kept telling her it was back ordered and would arrive about 3 week April. Well glad I snuck over to Bruce's table to get a look at it because so far that was the first and last time I got to fondle it LOL.

Thank you Bruce for building her a masterpiece and thank Kaye for me for her woman's input on this.

Dear, just be glad you got to see and fondle the knife at least one time before it was presented as my gift. I may from time to time allow you a peek at the knife. Just kidding, Lol.

Rob, it was a great planned presentation of the gift, even if I was kept in the dark.

Nick, thanks for the kind words on the knife photo. I try to emulate the excellent knife photographers, Coop, Buddy Thomason, etc., and I keep practicing so I may improve. Please don't take any offense if I neglected to mention other knife photographers as I meant no disrespect.
