I decided that I wanted to do something a little different this year. Since I am a snobbish foodie, I picked up a crazy Heirloom Bronze Turkey. It was free range and probably was delivered by aliens to the baby Jeebus. I went even further and put a half a pound of truffle butter under the skin. I then stuffed the poor bastard with a whole elephant garlic and an onion.

Before mit mein BK15:

After:

I used my BK7 to carve it, which worked out beautifully.

Damn, even after two days of eating turkey, that bird still makes my mouth water. How were you able to brown it in that microwave? Thanks for posting up pics!

I raise you two Beckers, a turkey leg, some ham, and some mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes.
Also, the turkey and ham were carved with a BK9 and BK2 (haven't convexed the 9 yet so I used the 2 for finer slicing).

I don't see the sweet potatoes....

Man, you guys are killin' me with these turkey photos! :D

Well, we had roast pork and an assorted and exotic ethnic foods, along with a turkey breast, but I won't bore you with more turkey, so here's what was happening last Thursday...and Friday, and Saturday......

You're not helping either! :D

Using up the leftovers from T-day.... Turkey wrap with romaine lettuce, plum tomatoes, and sweet chili sauce. Sliced with a brand new ESEE Becker kitchen knife.
