A Becker Axe?

Been a fan of Ranger knives for a long time, and Justin's always had those custom/semi custom axes.

So I was just thinking (while wondering whee my axe has actually gone to lol) How would a Becker/Ka Bar axe sale? What kinda gnarly design could Ethan come up with that looks mean but also is very functional. I know Cold Steel kinda has the Axe market covered, them and the customs, but I'm willing to bet a Becker designed, Ka Bar produced axe would sell some. Not blockbuster but enough to make a decent profit for all involved and a cool new toy for us beckerheads and aspiring beckerheads.

Also I do mean a more tradition axe, not a version of the MachAX or something similar to it.

I have a feeling they would sell pretty well. It would be a good product to at least test and maybe supply to the Beckerheads and receive their feedback. Overall due to the high popularity and credibility of Becker I believe that they would succeed in the field as long as they has a solid design! :)

Totally agree, it all hinges on the design imo, cus you know Becker/Ka Bar alone will sell cus of name recognition, but no one wants a crappy axe.

Yes exactly, although axes aren't Becker's current product, I believe with the dedicated customer's and the fanbase the company has, that it could deffinitely market the product while selling a large amount of them. But like you said, it ALL relies on how good their design is.

i think there's a becker axe thread a few weeks back, but i'm too swamped to dig it up right now... go forth. cross-link for me ;)
