Ron,

Sorry about the poor timing on my part. Never the less, I wanted to extend a hearty welcome aboard. I think you'll find this system's software a quantum leap better than what you're using at your site. That and with all the other activity here at BFC, your participation is a natural.

We both enjoy our relationship with Rob Simonich and your handling a line of custom design knives he fashions makes you a knife dealer now too

. So you do indeed belong here

With the traffic we've seen in such a small time, you may become as active as Sal Glesser did with his Spyderco forum or Bill Martino with his Himalayan Imports khukri forum. That would be no small feat. Regardless, you've much to offer and I see the forumites are discovering that fact quickly.

Continued success and good heath to both you and your wife!

Thanks Bob!

Sorry for the tardy reply. We've had some heavy snow here for the last two days and the lines were down and then the other stuff went South.. but...

I really enjoy the folks here. Our group over at the Hoodlums is great too. The biggest difference is that for the most part the Hoodlums have the videos so we can all start from some commmon ground and move forward. It really helps us move into advanced materials.

I've noticed that there is a LOT of native talent here so I get to learn here as well.

Thanks again

ROn

Ron, since you are commenting on the Hoodlums, I have a question. You use EZ-Board software there. When I view a topic all I see is one particular post. When I go to another EZ-Board site I see the whole thread, similar to BladeForums. Seeing the whole thread greatly improves the experience, i.e., I have time to read a few more things and get a better flow.

Is there any particular reason the Hoodlum forum works that way? ...or for some strange reason is it my browser only on that one site? If EZ-Board is more economical or easier to maintain than UBB or whatever this (BF) is, I understand, but other EZ-Board sites reveal the whole thread.
