A better Military clip?

Last year, I purchased a couple deep carry pocket clips from LynchNW. I bought them with the intent to use on two older model Militaries. I thought the look matched the Military perfectly, and after I bought the first one and felt how great it feels on the knife, I bought another.
Now that I've been using one of the knives for a while, the pivot needs tightened a bit. I was disgusted with myself when I realized I had overlooked one small detail in the design of the pocket clip, I would have to remove it to tighten the pivot. Bummer.
Am I missing something? I mean, why would someone design a pocket clip like that? It already has a hole in it to reach the center screw, why not elongate the hole a little to access the pivot screw? And looking around at some other brands, I don't see any clips that allow for pivot adjustment. Is this because the newer models have the pivot adjustment screw on both sides? I'm also not clear on how the new ones work. Can you adjust them from one side, or do you need to have a tool in both sides?
Anyway, your shared experience or suggestions is appreciated.

They don't elongate the hole because it would weaken the clip in a critcal location. They design them that way because they are trying to give people what they want, even though it isn't readily achievable. That's why they don't come stock with one, Sal hasn't found a design that meets his standards.

As far as I know, you need a bit in each side to adjust the pivot. I've never had to adjust any of mine aside from a couple of blade swaps.

That all makes sense about the design. I guess that answers my question about a better clip.

Most Spydercos don't need pivot adjustments since they are lock-tite in place. The only one I've ever had to tighten got loose again quick, once lock-tite was used, never loose again.

I asked a similar question a week or two ago regarding the PM2 clip and didn’t get a lot of help leading to a solution.

There's a small amount of lateral flex and some lean to the blade. It was tight and centered new. Is it possible it's just breaking in a little and not actually getting loose?

Yes...Only you can tell if it's loose, so if you have to ask, it's probably not :)
