I have decent gear for fall, winter, and spring, but as summer is only a few months away (it's going to be 9° tonight) I realize again that I don't have a decent summer bag. I gave a nice (850 fill down) winter bag that I try to use as late into the spring and early in the fall as possible because it's sub 3 pounds and very comfortable. I literately have a box full of nice Spring/Fall sleeping bags that never get used anymore. Unfortunately I'm far too warm in any weather much above 50° and have to switch over to my Lafuma 50 degree bag. The bag is just OK. It's compact and pretty light but can never go before 50° and I'm pretty cold even at 60°.
I'd like to keep the bag under a pound for a 50 or 60 degree bag and preferably around $100 but will go up if there is a nice bag I should definitely go with. Compressibility is important to me. Any recommendations?
