I made this dogbone Bowie for a fellow forumite that trains in the Bowie fighting techniques.

Sorry for the bad pic....camera issues and d*##m! snow out there again.

The blade is 5/16" thick and 11" long. Long, sharp clip. The fittings are iron and mild steel and the handle is osage.

I outfitted it in a leather sheath but it is also going to Mike Sastre for a Southern Comfort sheath.

Great lookin' Bowie, Greg..........you know I love mine!!! :)

Great looking knife bud. I love the handle amd guard :). You're inspiring me to try a thicker spined knife ;).

That handle looks MEAN. I like the sharpened clip. Is that a hex nut just below the hilt?

It looks almost... Industrial.

Great looking knife Greg, Very functional looking. Probably feels as good as it looks too.
