This one sports a massive 11" blade and is 16" OAL. I don't usually make my Bowies this large but the steel was so beautiful that I wanted to show it off. It's made from a piece of 7-bar Turkish (W2 & 203E) that I commissioned from Jerry Rados almost a year ago and am just now getting the knife completed. (It's one of the last pieces he made before moving to Kentucky.) The handle is mastadon w/416 fittings.

Hope you like it.

That big honkin' blade is a great canvas for that shimmering damascus. I look forward to seeing this one in person.

Gary,

Beautifully done piece. Rados damascus is something to behold and you surely put it to good use. Nicely done.

Thanks everyone. I'm looking forward to seeing many of you in Little Rock next week. The Arkansas Show is always a good time.
