Hello All,
A friend of mine recently picked up a huge Aranyik enep and asked me to make him a sheath for it. Well he gave me alot of freedom on this and I ran with it a bit. I made it both Baldric/Belt carry. I used a removable shackle so he can take off the belt carry system when he uses the baldric rings. I also used Sam Browne style buttons for the retention straps. This is the biggest sheath Ive done to date, it is also the first time I did this type of stamping/texturing. I really like how it came out, the pictures don't do it justice. Check it out:

Thanks for looking

Cool, the one downside of these knives is the lack of sheath. I just got one as well and need to get a sheath made for it but im probably not gonna get anywhere near as fancy as what you did, looks great.

Mine came with a clam-shell wooden sheath covered with gray... for lack of a better word... Naugahyde? More like a piece of leather-like vinyl, with a belt loop sewn on. But I bought mine from a side-of-the-road knife stand in northern Thailand, and bought several different models. For the $3 or $4 that they cost, I figured I could treat myself. One of them is exactly like the one in the photo above, right down to the indentations in the steel. I never thought about making a leather sheath for it, but it would be a good project, though a leather sheath wouldn't last very long in Thailand's climate.

Turned out really beautiful and sturdy.Like the stamping and the metal ware added. Great work!
