This is certainly overdue but free time has been scarce as of late so my deepest apologies to the three kind gentleman listed in the title.

Awhile back Jack (mrknife) posted in Carl's lounge a bit on his ring making forays. I commented on his extreme talent and how impressed I was with his talented work. Notice Jack's avatar:thumbup: Not long after he posted how one of his creations was mail bound. Now bare with me as my memory fades here a bit. But what I recall is Jack and I conversing and confirming my shipping info.

Not long after arrives a MASSIVE SKULL ring!!! Now Jack please fill in the details, 60 plus grams of sterling silver? Over 2 oz of sterling silver skull mass!!! I love this ring and how Jack nailed the size is a mystery:cool: this beauty is so big my winter and work gloves won't fit while on my finger!!! Check this out. THANK YOU JACK!!!

Bob, aka (Bigbiscuit) your next buddy;) now many may know that I manage the North Dakota/New Zealand trading company and many vintage and current production knives come through my doors enroute to New Zealand:D Now this great CASE Loom Fixer arrived with no note so I assumed it was New Zealand bound. As it happens Bob reached out to a forum member selling this BEAUTIFUL 1974 CASE Loom Fixer. Not only do I love CASE knives I love utility/purpose knives and the Loom Fixer is one such knife. I have a couple in red bone and don't carry often as my fear is damaging the CASE red bone. What arrives is a WONDERFUL pakkawood version waiting to be carried. It's solid and sharp and will offer years of faithful use. Thank you Bob!!!

Now please understand, these three gentlemen all contacted me within about a 7 to 10 day window. Next was Randy, aka (rredden)asking for my shipping info, I asked kindly what he was up to and he disguised his response as a wait and see as he had something I may be interested in. Now lets look at the irony here between Randy and Bob, do these two members and friends think alike or what!!!

Soon after our conversation a box with an identical CASE 1974 Loom Fixer in pakkawood arrived accompanied by a vintage USA Schrade single lock blade trapper:eek::eek::eek: I mean really, what are the chances? And please believee that each Loom Fixer will be carried. I treasure such kind gifts from great members and friends. Now the trapper has been in Randys possession for many years and to gift away an heirloom like that means so much to me. Every gift does.

THANK YOU JACK, BOB AND RANDY!!! I am touched with your generosity. You three are pillars on the porch and I appreciate you and your contributions very very much..thank you my friends as I am blessed to have friends such as you three and many others here...THANK YOU:thumbup:

Luckeee! That's some neat stuff and good friends-kinda sums up the porch right there. You get tired of that ring let me know. Need a skull ring, used to be a bit of a trade mark, usually one with horns. Level of detail there is great!
Thanks, Neal

Quite a coincidence! Generous men have favored a generous man. Thanks for sharing to all 4 of you.

Paul if anyone on the porch deserves to be gifted it is you my friend.

Bob now we have proof that great minds do think alike.:D

Jack that is truly excellent work.. The detail is spectacular and it's amazing how much that skull actually looks like you. ;) LOL

It is a funny coincidence. I had sent the Loom Fixer to Paul a while ago, and then last week Randy and I were talking on the phone and he mentioned sending Paul a Loom Fixer. I chuckled as I related to Randy that I had just sent Paul the very same knife. :D
I can't say great minds Randy. Maybe just a couple of old minds that like a particular set of classics and values. :D;)
Jack, That ring is fantastic. You have quite an ability with many different hobbies. Well done buddy.

Oh and I have to reiterate Randy's statement about you being quite deserving Paul.

Very nice

I'm enjoying my orange Pioneer that Randy gifted to me. And I sent him a few goodies to thank him for his kindness.

Some very generous fellows.

I bought a 77 clip point Barlow from Jake and in the box came the 77, four different NIB SAK's a really cool Victorinox counter display and a 3D miniature post card. I have heard "my cup runneth over" but now I have experienced "my box runneth over". Thank you so much Jake you are definitely one of the best BF has to offer.

A feel good thread after a tough day. Well done, everyone involved. Congrats, Paul, you are certainly well deserving.

Superlative all the way around! Paul, you are a most deserving gentleman! The ring is so cool :cool: and so well executed.

Paul had once emailed about my custom work before and expressed an interest in some day getting a project done. As I quote with some liberty "I don't want no mall ninja stuff" as Paul had said. This hefty beast is a solid skull memento mori ring. Nothing like those hollow on the inside skull rings that are mass produced. Im gonna have to level with you guys, i guessed on his ring size. Paul did mention where it was between, and it took a little bit of time, but in his profile picture, I can see his hand a bit, and extrapolated. The thing is chunky, and I had to let Paul know if he was to take that to a jeweler to get it sized larger, theyd have to shave down silver from the inside just cause its such a massive ring. Paul seems like a very big fella, but I'm glad I got it right and you enjoy it! Seeing all the good things Paul and Co does for Bob and everyone here, I just couldn't think of charging the man for the project. Thank you all for the kind words, splendid jobs on your ends as well fellas!:D

You guys are too much! Of course, Paul is a more than worthy recipient.

Paul you are such a classy gentleman and so very deserving of these wonderful gifts. Well done by all of you!

Paul you deserve that big old ring! And those cool Case knives. I have one but I'm not sure what to do with it!?:o:D
Please show us a pic of the ring on your hand!!

Jack, I knew you were one of the good guys, as soon as I met you in Titusville! Nice present you made to Paul:thumbup::thumbup:

Bob and Randy, being a recipient of your respective generosities, I know how special it feels to be a friend to you both!

This place is like no other place on the internet!!:)

Great stuff gents, well done to all of you :)
