Buck's customer service is Numero Uno! The stitching pulled out of the belt loop on my 112 Ranger's sheath. Lucky I didn't lose the knife. Mailed the sheath back to Buck and they promptly sent me a new one.
This is why we love Buck so much! God bless 'em.

I hate good customer service. It makes me want to buy more of a company's product. :D

Thats great,I actually lost a 110 ,the sheath came apart(nylon not cordura)and it slipped away un-noticed,I sent that back with a note saying they shouldn't put such a quality knife in a cheapo sheath,I got back a new cordura sheath, and in it was a brand new buck 110 ,made me a fan for life!

With out a doubt, Buck has the best customer service I have ever dealt with.

Dang Razor, you got a new Buck knife just..Well seems Buck did something similar for me as well.Thats why I bought a few more.DM

this is a good story! and is typ of how they deal with every one!
i have used a 110 from 1967
and never sent one in tell jest a few years back!
but every time i do send one in it comes back like a brand new one!
and some times it is a brand new on also!!!!!

Good to hear the feedback here. Having to replace stuff like this does keep us honest in our pursuit of getting quality product out in the first place.

Quality is why i have about $3000 in Buck products.lol I really do think after all the hunting and fishing trips testing buck knives out, that i would put any one of them up against anything out there and it will hold its own if not outperform the competition.

Just the fact that C.J. Buck himself would respond to this post speaks volumes about how much Buck Knives cares about their customers!!! And may explain why I have a Buck to fit every outdoor pursuit and situation, and why my kids all get a new Buck from Dad every Christmas. God Bless.

Jeff

Jeff,Your the dad that several of us have the same MO.ie. As I was in the Buck store during the 20yr.event I had one or two knives on my mind.A special gift for one daughter that would be graduating high school in 4yrs. and the other college in 4yrs..What to get them? Well, guess what I over heard as I strolled quietly around. Husbands and wives talking softly like;you know Tommy will graduate in 3yrs.and I'd like to get him this.Do you thing he'd like it? It wasn't your usual, get more for me buyers. It was, pass it onto the next generation thinking going on.Most all of us here have given away lots of Buck knives and we like knowing that when they open it they'll say. Dang, its a Buck!DM

 Exactly!!!!!!!!

one more reason that many go from useing to collecting ...
you jest fall in love with a company that cares as they do
and all the buck nuts also care ...
feels like one big extended family to me..
even when we dont all agree
we all care!

Let's all have a group hug......NO lets not.....how about all you get get off the computer chair and on the horse and fix up a knife history for the BCCI website. You can do it in teams if necessary. Share records, photos, etc. One person who has a knack compile it all and check Dave's spelling. Several folks who know about writing and processing have volunteered to help someone who is a knife head......Start off with a model that only has a couple of versions to get your feet wet and then eventually tackle the mega-models. Some of you have "hinted" you would but I have seen NO progress, hint, hint B__L. Contact Jack Foresman for some starting information.

Yes, it may be imperfect and maybe only partially complete, but let Joe and others find the mistakes. No one is perfect.
If you keep saying I don't know enough to do it you are just making excuses, you keep doing that and your unique abilities and knowledge will be lost forever when you get run over by the bus..........you can contact me for more ideas and amoral support......Do I have a Amen.......

along with it all my buck 110 data!!
but i will see if i can salvage the hd into another computer..
have some drafts on 110 that i never finished..

Ok, Brother Dave has come forward one of you computer guys contact him and volunteer to help him. One of you Adobe guys contact him and get his info organized and then start the editing process. Some of you other 110 guys talk to him on what info he has and get everyones compiled together and organized into something readable........Lets get going........It's the American way.....and the Scout Law. Remember the part "do my best, to do my duty, to "
